Do I have to Pay £75 deposit in full ?
We prefer you to do this yes, but understand it is not always possible. So we can accept a lower deposit of £50 if required.

Is there room for adults on the bus?

Yes, there is room for a maximum of 10 adults on board. The adults can sit down in the eating area upstairs until food time, then most will have to move downstairs to allow room for all the children to sit down. Food time is also the ideal opportunity for the adults to get in the play area!!

Is Squiggles Playbus based in Nottingham?

I am based in Mansfield, but Playbus number 1 (the red one) will be operating out of a more central location in Hucknall. Our 2nd bus operates from Mansfield Woodhouse, covering Mansfield,Chesterfield, Worksop,Ollerton and more.

Between the 2 buses we now cover the following postcode areas:

NG1 - NG11

NG14 - NG21

NG70,NG80,NG90

DE5,DE7,DE55,DE75,

S21,S41,S43,S44,S45,S49,S80

We can cover some areas outside of these areas, but have to charge extra for the fuel, as we average around 7mpg!!

Do you have Electrical power on the bus?

We have power on board to power lights, music, fans etc.
The amount of power we have is limited so on occasions we may need to plug in to a power source in your house.
We carry long extension cables in case this is neccessary.

This is safe and very low voltage, and the cost to run for the party duration would only be a few pennies extra on your electricity bill.

How Many Children are allowed on the bus?

A maximum of 16 to allow easy access around the bus for the children.

Is the bus heated ?

Yes the bus has heating, although obviously if people are on and off the bus regularly, opening the doors will impact on it's effectiveness.

How do you compare to Soft Play Centres?

We feel that we are a more unique party venue than the soft play centres,

The big advantage of the playbus is, it is just your child and friends playing and eating together for the duration of the party. At a soft play centre, the play time is shared with up to 100 other children, and your child can spend most of the time trying to find their friends and get frustrated at not being with them

Do you have toilets on board

No, we like to keep as much space as we can for playing in. Therefore it is sensible to ensure you've been to the toilet prior to getting on board

I live outside Nottinghamshire, can i still book the Playbus?

Yes you can still book us, but we would have to ask £1.50 per mile outside of our 10 mile radius of NG15 6EU return journey. It will also depend what other bookings we have that day, as we have to ensure we have enough time to get to the next party

Can we bring our own food on the bus

Yes, you are free to bring your own food to eat in our dedicated eating area on the upper deck,

Thanks
